Celtic triquetra pendant

Wooden triquetra pendant hand carved from jojoba wood. Covered with hard wax oil. The cat has woven itself into this knot and is peacefully resting there. This is my vision of this symbol, and in tandem with the cat, the meaning of the symbol becomes more personal and vivid. The triquetra is an ancient symbol consisting of three intertwined loops with no beginning or end. It has different meanings depending on the context: for the ancient Celts, it could be a symbol of life, death, and rebirth, or of the earth, sea, and sky. The cat as guardian of boundaries — in many cultures, cats guard the thresholds between the visible and invisible worlds. Resting peacefully inside the knot, the cat embodies a gentle message — true balance is a place where you feel safe enough to relax. This pendant symbolizes calm within life’s cycles, protection through harmony, and trust in your own path.
