Barred owl pendant

Wooden owl hand carved from apricot wood, covered with hard wax oil. I was inspired by the barred owl. Owls are known for their ability to turn their heads in a most weird way. I have captured precisely this characteristic of these birds in this pendant. This owl has a very beautiful detailed bird face, wise golden eyes, and well-detailed feathers. Each detail is shaped by hand, giving the pendant depth and character from every angle. The polished surface highlights the natural grain of the wood while keeping the carving crisp and clear. Owls are traditionally associated with wisdom, intuition, and self-confidence. This one-of-a-kind wooden owl necklace is both a symbolic piece and a small wearable sculpture inspired by nature and birds.
