This wooden heart pendant necklace is hand carved from natural bog oak wood and finished with hard wax oil. The pendant is complemented by a two small beads, one green and one black, as an accent. This piece is cut from the end grain of the wood, which gives it an even more unique texture; you can see the wood's growth rings. Bog oak is ancient wood preserved in wetlands for hundreds or even thousands of years. It is known for its deep, rich dark color and exceptional durability. This particular piece of bog oak wood was lifted from the bottom of the Dnieper River in Ukraine. It has strong energy.
